I had to make a rather sudden server migration due to hacking and exploits on the old box. Not everything is back, but it will be soon. The image gallery will take a little while so be patient. By this weekend this should all be just a bad dream... |

I have gotten just as tired as many of you of waiting for the new Archive, so I've moved up the launch date to... Now! There are still a lot of stories to be transferred (more volunteers to help with this task are welcome), but the discussion board is more secure (we have been having comment spam problems if you hadn't noticed) and the entire image Gallery is moved.
The old site is up in its entirety at http://old.ararchive.com. you can't post in the discussion areas, but you can read everything.

So what's on this all original collection? All never before seen material!
Over 750 pages of artwork all by Bojay.
That's pages not artwork. Some pages contain several drawings or sketches. So in reality you are getting literally thousands of illustrations.

The user database on this site has been updated to match the main Archive. Your login and password will now match what you used there. Unfortunately, to bring in the new data I had to blow away the user accounts you created for testing. I adjusted the IDs associated with postings and stories so they should still have the proper names associated with them. Also, I had to empty the preferences you had already programmed. Such is the life of a beta tester. |

This is it - the new version of the AR Archive! There will probably be
some graphics changes to make it more custom over the next few days,
but this setup has all of the functions that the existing Archive does.
Check it all out and let me know what you find.
Some of the cool new stuff:
- The Discussion area lets you choose flat or threaded
- The stories will finally be organized where you can find them by what's new or alphabetically by title
- If you click on a user's profile from the userlist you can see
what stories they have written as well as their forum posts and news
submissions
- The stories section lets authors manage their own stories, add chapters, add images and format their stories in html.
