ARVInn: World--Ronnie and The Boys

Chapter Description: Ronnie and his sons had a great relationship. Unfortunately, there wasn't a way to fit the 'new' Ronnie into their busy, itinerant lifestyles. The ARVInn West campus came to the rescue...but first, one last road trip together.

Ronnie and the Boys, Family Outing   

Ronnie Denler (6/2019) was moving to ARVInn—West in October 2078, following the death of his wife.  He had been a successful businessman in Richmond before the virus came, but cashed everything out after his bounce in 2068.  His investments paid off well, leaving him with enough income to live as he wanted. His wife, May, was ill so he became her care-giver (with assistance) for the next several years before she passed away.  Near the end, it wasn’t uncommon to find Ronnie and May cuddled up in her bed.  Sometimes she’d call even him by one of the boys’ names, reliving in her mind the times when she’d cared for them when they were sick.

After she was gone, Ronnie was left to find something to occupy his days.  He began by organizing all the pictures, souvenirs and other things they’d collected in over thirty years of marriage.  Soon enough, he was looking for something else.  His situation was comfortable, but empty.  The house, designed for a family, was too much for one small guy.  He began looking for something else and eventually found ARVInn-West, which was just a few years old, but well-reviewed and increasingly active in programs for AR-Adults.
