Chapter Description: A mother wants to make her son's wish real.
Joan was a 54 year old mom. She had her son relatively late, and after her son’s, Frederick, birth, her doctor said she may be impossible to bear a child again. Now Frederick is 3, and every birthday, he always asks for a little brother, and Joan and her husband, Marc, always try, but it seems impossible.
“Dear, what can we do? He’s too young to understand. He doesn’t even want to get potty trained.” She cried to Marc. “I know it’s hard, I know how beneficial it would be for him being a big brother.” Marc said. “It’s all my fault!” Joan shouted. “No, it’s not. You decided to do it.” “Exactly! I- I wish I could be his baby brother.” She ran off the room.
During the night, she was browsing her phone and a very weird notification appeared, promising that her wish could be real. Joan thought about it and entered her son’s room. “I’ll soon be joining you.” She whispered while looking at her kid sleeping on the crib.
Freddie noticed the touch and woke up. “What is it, mommy? I need a tange?” He asked groggy. “Oh baby, get ready to get your baby brother.” She said crying. “Weawwy?” “Yes, now watch me turn into Johnny.” Freddie was confused and Joan touched her phone. A small light appeared and Joan started to shrink.
Freddie was watching with wonder, and Joan could feel her whole body change. Then, her clothes morphed into a onesie over a diaper that got wet immediately. Seconds later, she already learned her speaking ability and how to stand. He fell on his butt and started crying.
Marc ran to the room and found the small baby crying on the floor, and he already knew who he was. “Freddie! What happened?” “Mommy became my baby bwo, now he Johnny.” He giggled. Marc picked Freddie two and put them in the changing table, and Johnny turned to him. “Dada…” Marc got emotional. “Hope you’re happy, Johnny.”
