Chapter Description: Two brothers have a match of basketball.
Alec and Josh were playing some basketball in their home kitchen. “Alec, stop!” Josh said, jumping on his brother’s leg. “No, come here get it. Who told you to be so short?” He said while putting the ball high and continued to tease the seven year old. Josh had enough. “Why can’t I hoop once?” He asked in a whiny tone. “Because you’re just a baby.” He said in a derisive tone and the boy turned around. “I wished you could see how I feel.” He ran to his room.
Alec just ignored and resumed his playing, but with each time he threw the ball, the harder it seemed to throw it properly. And after some time, he felt a weird breeze in his legs, so he couldn’t believe what he saw as he looked down. He was now a baby again! “What happened to me?” He froze after hearing his higher pitched voice. He was still there trying to process what happened. Why did he shrink? Why was his onesie open? And what was the weird feeling between his legs that made him incapable of closing his legs? But his questions stopped after seeing Josh in the kitchen door with a smug smile. His eyes were still red from the crying, but he was trying to hide the fact, even though it was still a bit obvious.
“Well, look who’s the baby now.” He said in the same tone Alec used towards him. “You did this?” He asked angrily. “I’m not sure, but I’m not eager to know. I just know that you’re my baby brother, and it looks like mommy and daddy think that way too.” He showed him a family photo, where there were two little boys in the pics. He knew they couldn’t be both when they were a bit younger. He was seventeen, so even though he couldn’t understand math anymore, he knew that wasn’t right. “You… you… poopy head!” He tried to scream at Josh, but Alec’s curses were now as infantilized as he. “Wow, that’s some foul language. Look, let’s make a deal, let’s do two out of three, but if you score one point, you can be as big as me, or even older. If not, we can grow up as brothers.” Alec already knew Josh’s plan, but he wouldn't let the only opportunity slip through his fingers, so they shaked hands.
Josh thought it would be easy, he still knew how to play and his brother’s weak spots, but he soon discovered that a younger body resulted in a way younger performance. Eventually, Josh only needed one more point, and he was trying to keep the ball high while Alec jumped on him. “Give me the baww!” He shouted. “No, who told you to be so short?” He successfully hooped.
