Chapter 26
Youth Mints

Chapter Description: A gardener is hired by a mysterious woman.

Reginald was a gardener who worked for Marylin, a middle aged woman who lived in a giant house. Both had a very healthy relation, but Reginald always thought that she looked very young for her age, but never bothered to ask, the only thing he knew about her was that she had some type of brand of rejuvenating masks.

One day, he was alone in the house when he approached Marylin’s room, a place that he was prohibited to go to, but he thought that going there in secret wouldn’t hurt and could be a very nice surprise to his boss. While the worker was watering the plants, he saw a weird plant that he had never seen before. It looked like a normal mint leaf, but it had a very bright blue coloring that caught his attention. It also had a very sweet smell, and how he loved mint overall, he thought taking a small bite wouldn’t hurt. He bit one leaf and felt something different, his skin was softer and his hair was puffier. Seeing what was probably Marylin’s source of income and youth, he took the bitten leaf and two more so he could try them later.

When he started his break, he took the leaves and put them over the table and put the rest of the leaf in his mouth and Marylin was back home in the same instant. “Hey, Reginald. How was-” She stopped and saw the mints. “You went to my room?” He Nodded. “Reginald, I’m not mad at you for doing that, but those Youth Mints are very dangerous if you eat them pure and a single leaf can be dangerous!” Reginald was in shock after hearing that and a weird feeling started to spread through his body. Marylin just stood there and watched Reginald shrink back to a two year old. She picked him up. “Sorry, Reggie, but these mints make people’s youth eternal, but I hope you learned to just do what I say.” He nodded shyly.

Marylin and Reginald were now acting like mother and son. While she was looking for a new gardener, Reginald was starting to learn to like being a toddler, and just being around the house only in a shirt and diaper was something he started to be fond of. One day, while Marylin was still looking when he heard a hose noise coming from the backyard. She went to check and saw her little boy watering her plants. “Hey buddy, what are you doing?” She asked. “I’m a gawdenew mommy.”
