Chapter Description: A young man receives a mysterious gift in the beach.
Thomas was a common man who was ready to enjoy his beach vacations with his fianceé Alex. But during their stay, Alex got sick, so Thomas started to go to the beach to enjoy his time while Alex stayed in the hotel. He felt bad for having all that fun while Alex couldn’t, but the sick man told him that he could have fun, since they wouldn’t have much more chances to do that.
While he was sunbathing, a weird glow appeared in front of him. “What the hell?” He covered his eyes. “Hello, young man, my name’s Fae and I’m here to help you to release from this anguish you’re feeling.” The baby blue glow said. “What are you? And how will you do that?” He asked. “I’m a magical spirit that guides lost old souls like you, and here is the solution.” They said and a weird glow appeared from the sea, where a glowing rock emerged and floated to their direction. "Now, just grab the stone.” They said. When Thomas grabbed it, a weird feeling took him, and he saw everything around him grow. He looked down and saw a body of a two year old, very chubby, covered by his morphed clothes. His navy tank became a blue Thomas the Engine shirt and his trunks, a pair of crinkly diapers. At the moment he opened his mouth to talk to Fae and contest his transformation, he felt his mind guiding his body to another area of the beach to start building sandcastles.
He spent the next few hours playing in the sand, splashing in the sea and taking a nap under the afternoon sun. When the sun was setting, Fae approached him. “Did you have fun, little Tommy?” They asked and he nodded. “Now, to go back to normal, you just need to throw the rock back at the ocean.” “No!” He protested. “You pretend to stay this way? You know the consequences of being like this forever, since you’ll never grow up again?” They asked. “Yes, I do.” He smiled at the light. “Very well, my child, I wish you a good life.” They said. “Fank you, Fae!” He said and turned his back, toddling back to the hotel, maybe he can compensate his fianceé by giving him a son.
